Fiskehuset (The Fish House)

Not often I advertise for other’s businesses, but this one deserves a change. A long awaited specialist store finally opened the doors in our local town early February. Fiskehuset, the Fish House in English, is run by an Icelandic family and is offering fish products of several types together with seafood. They have been established in a neighbour town for years, and we have used them regularly. Nice to have them in walking distance and to avoid using the car for every visit. We walked down there yesterday and brought with us fish cakes for dinner. All processed food made by their own developed recipes. Excellent service and taste. Definitely a success, we will visit them again.

Next one we are waiting for now, is a fruit and vegetable market, to be run by a Turkish family. This is due to open soon.
