Last week
No update last half week as we have been quite busy.
Thursday started by driving into town. Tove had an appointment with Pamper Yourself to do her nails. This beauty salon is really good, according to Tove. The price over here for such treatment is 120 TL compared to 1000 kr at home for the same, not bad.
We then went downtown to have my wrist watch battery changed. Cost 20tl compared to 250 kr back home. Not bad either. The store also advertised Rolex from 40 euros. Think I may afford one next time we’re there. Must prove it is a real fake one ?.
Next on the list was a lunch with Ozy and David at one of my absolute favourite restaurants, Los Amigos Mexican.
Went back to Little Stones, David and Ozy’s home for a chat, before going home via Erdener and Supreme. Erdener has prosecco on special offer, while Supreme had got some more Mud House wines. It all have to do with saving money ?
Coming home I did an inspection of our orange tree. It carries a lot of fruit and some start to go into a yellow colour

The evening ended with drinks up at the Robbos, Derek and Linda. We’re on a cruise with them in December, and some pre planning was required.
Friday was just a lazy day by the pool, before going to Almond Tree Restaurant in the evening on a Norwegian only night. Went with Jan Tore, Liv Kjersti, Jarle and Torun. It was Liv Kjersti’s birthday. Had to Tove’s fright, baby squids as starter, and grilled grouper as main. Ended up at Jan’s for a late night drink before going to bed.
Saturday arrived and needed some planning. Ozy, David, Phil and Sheila was invited for dinner. Once again drove into town for some shopping as we needed fresh vegetables and fruit. Best place for this is to visit the fruit and vegetable market, Ya Beleş, it has virtually all you need

On our way back we met Maria, who is caring for the cats on site. Agreed to take home a cat from the vet so she could avoid going on an extra trip to Sweetwater Bay. Cat had been neutered

Jan and Liv Kjerst left in the afternoon, going home to Norway.
We had saved some venison for Ozy, as she was in Turkey visiting family when we last had it on the menu. Tove as always, is an excellent chef, provided hors d’oeuvre, beer chicken and bon fillet of lamb. David was in charge of dessert, cheese and port. Port was a Sandeman tawny. As David do not like cheese, he was quite happy with just the port ?

All people left early in the night quite content
As we have been quite busy this week, we decided Sunday was going to be just a relaxing day. Tove needed a rest from food preparation, so we started early in the morning going to Roots Bar with Phil and Sheila for breakfast. Roots bar is rebuild next to its old place, and has just been opened. Place needs a bit of support as they still lacks some permissions. A smoothie and desent real English breakfast did it.
After Roots, just chilling on the roof terrace and having dinner at home.
