Kaya Palazzo

Sunday brunch at Kaya Palazzo

Today there are 2 events I will to add a post about. This is the first one, the second one at Stevie’s will be posted tomorrow.

Every time we’re here, we like to indulge ourselves in abundance with a visit to the Kaya Palazzo hotel and it’s Sunday brunch table. This time it coinsided with the celebration of Özlem Lyons 50 year birthday. We were Sheila Lane, Phil Conkie with mum Delphine Conkie, Cynthia Wilbraham, Dennis Bucton, bırthday girl Özlem Lyon, David Lyon with niese Sandra Harding, Tove and I. Seams that Ozi(Özlem) likes to celebrate her day, as it for us is the second time in a couple of days. Friday we had a private party on the Kephal seafood restaurant in Lords Palace hotel. However Ozi, you deserve it after yesterday’s hassle. Ozi visited us yesterday to have some help with setting up a Airbnb account etc., and had a collision on her way back home. In addition, when returning home, had to take David to hospital with an infection.

The brunch buffet is overwhelming. 200 tl per person for eat as much as you can and drink the same between 12 and 3 pm. Prosecco is flowing freely. However, not quite happy today. As the hotel was full, the normal brunch area was reserved for people staying at the hotel. Buffet for others were moved outside. The result was that some of the food was a bit dry, like the scampi.

As mentioned above, prosecco is flowing freely. I must admit there was a lot of giggling after a while. Below is a few pics from the event.

Now, one person is missing. I had a complaint today from Sheila, that she has never been in my blog. Sheila, no need to complain any more. I’m adding a picture of you bigger than the other ones ?. Btw., you’re gorgeous ?

Sheila Lane

All in all, another successful Sweetwater Bay event.

Last, but not least, David and Ozi, thanks a lot for taking the bill.

There is nothing such as a free lunch ???️?
