During the last few days, since returning from Cyprus, I have worked on some issues on my blog.

No1, the multilingual bit.

I have hit some problems here after testing some plug-ins. So far, the ones I have testet has not been up to my standards. So therefore, my friends, I will continue writing in English for another while. No big deal actually, as the blog is most of all meant for my English speaking friends.

No2, the ability to subscribe to my blog.

During my search I found 3 service providers that could fullfil my needs, Aweber, Feedburner and MailChimp.

Aweber has a heavy price tag, $19 per month or $194 per year. This rules out this provider, as I anticipate only to have a few followers.

Feedburner from Google was promising as it is free and from a well known company. However, Google has discontinued the service and it is full of bugs. Didn’t get it to work at all, so ruled out.

Left with MailChimp then which works as a charm. Best of all, it’s free for up to 2000 subscribers, well below my intendeded audience.

So, my blog site has been updated with a Follow me section. Enter your name and mailaddress and hit subscribe. You will have an email in return where you need to confirm your subscription, and by magic you are into my mailing list.

Next step is then to add mails to update you whenever there is a new post. Recon this will take a couple of days to complete.

Btw., harvested my grapes today. Green ones were sweet, but not enough to make wine. Blue ones were sour and went directly into the bin. This is what I got

Not much, but haven’t got this much earlier.

Also, summer is definitely over here, so all outdoorr furniture was packed away today 🙁
