Karpaz Gate Marina Beach Club

Yesterday we were back at the beach club for another relaxing day. Met up with the Robbos together with Tony and Marg, who had come up from the dark side (the south side of Cyprus).

Weather has changed a bit, even though it is sunny all day, you can feel the the air is slightly cooler. The pool felt like a pond of icy water. We measured it to 26 degrees. This shows how spoiled we are. Having 26 degrees back home would be considered boiling hot.

Nothing exiting happened during the day. Had lunch up there and nearly finished reading my book. Found Papillon by Henry Charriere in the bookshelf in our bedroom by the start of the Holliday. Read this many years ago and find it just as good now as then.

All were invited up to Sheila and Phil for a night cup, or several. This was Joanne’s last night at Sweetwater Bay for this time. Tony and Marg would drive her down to Lanaca airport today.

During the evening, Arthur Millman also turned up. He had just arrived for some days of Holliday. Nice to meet you again.

Went home around 2 am after lot of laughters.
