Christmas eve with the Incredible Hulk

Christmas eve was spent in our house with the whole family, 13 persons all. Had invited Ozi, David and Talia from Cyprus, but unfortunately they could not make it

Menu was as always a 4 course dinner starting with soup, fish pudding with shrimps in a white sauce on tart shells, main course with pork rib with crispy rind, sausages, meatballs, sauerkraut etc., ending with desert icecream and rice pudding with red sauce. Whine in any flavour, beer and aquavit to go with it.

After dinner there is the exchange of presents. Julian and Sebastian did very well in handing out the presents, reading all labels. The tradition in our family, is that the next present is not handed out until the previous is unwrapped and shown to the others. All where happy with the presents. Matteo was very happy getting a drum set!!! Not sure his mother will like it, but Espen gave her hearing protection. Tove and I got a Google Nest hub from Kristine/Stian and tickets to the opera from Milla/Espen. On Feb 24, we are going to the opera to see Madame Butterfly.

Coffee with cognac, liqueur is enjoyed by the adults, together with cakes.

We worked on the presents until 11.55 am. A couple of the youngest ones kind of went into a coma before the end of the day.
