Waterbulb
This bulb just could not take more water. A result from the last storm with water flooding down the electric channel. Luckily it looks like we have got away with very little damage. Maria sent me this video this morning

7 weeks wihout socks done
7 weeks without socks were done yesterday and what an exit we had. Morning started a bit stressful by the taxidriver showing up an hour early. Taxi was booked for 6.30 so he just had to have an extra nap in the car. When leaving Sweetwater Bay we noticed big cloud formations in the sky and knew there was some rain forecasted. Just thought it was a perfect day to leave after so many days in the sun. Finally we had a taxi driver that did not thought he was Michel Schumacher or Ayrton Senna. Had a nice and easy drive to Ercan airport. Check-in was done without any problem…

Driving in the TRNC
Driving in the northern part of Cyprus can be challenging. TRNC has the highest traffic death rate in Europe. Cypriots is such a nice population. However, this is only until you put them behind the steering wheel of a car. Something weird happens and changes their personality. There are 2 type of drivers. One drives extremely slow and makes all other drivers mad. The next one, and the most of them, are the ones that have their own set of traffic rules. In addition they drive like mad, overtaking at any point. After driving here for 10 years without an accident, I feel quite proud. My record number of years…
